Anchor Aims Games Championships 2018

Tim Evers —

“You are never really playing an opponent. You are playing yourself, your own highest standards, and when you reach your limits, that is real joy.” – Arthur Ashe

In 15 years, the Anchor AIMS Games Championships have transitioned from a small festival of sport, to what is now considered the International Championships for Intermediate and Middle schools.

The 2018 championships had well over 10,000 competitors, representing 320 schools from NZ, Tonga, Australia, and the Cook Islands.

We are extremely proud of our team that represented our school with amazing pride and passion. The individual and team results were brilliant, with our athletes achieving some personal bests.

I would also like to take this opportunity to recognise the dedication of Paula Dore and Jane Newton. This opportunity would not be possible without their hard work and support.
