On the 24th October at the Horncastle Arena, the Heaton Normal Intermediate school choir and musicians entertained a captive audience along with fifteen hundred other students from Christchurch Schools. 

The theme this year was "Fun and Games". The highlights of the evening were the special groups which performed with expression and flair as well as the full choir's version of the song "Eye of the Tiger" and "We are the Champions". 

This year as always we had a number of students involved in the special senior choir, orchestra and concert band. These were 

Choir: Lila, Lucy, Hamish, Sophia, Monte, Sophia

Orchestra: Elle-Roze, Anna-Marie, Katia, Rata

Concert Band: Suhyuk, Sam

The evening was very entertaining and our students sang, played and compered beautifully. They were a credit to our school. Well done everyone.
