CAIMS Cross Country Championships 2018

Tim Evers —

'Where the pavement ends, cross country begins'

Our Heaton Cross Country Team represented our school with great pride at this year’s Canterbury AIMS Championships. It was brilliant to see our students demonstrating our Heaton values, and giving it their absolute all on a challenging and boggy Halswell course.

We are extremely proud of all 36 students who earned the right to represent our school and compete to win their place in the Primary v. Intermediates event. An incredible 14 Heaton students finished in the top 20 of their respective races, and will now compete against the strongest 20 runners from all primary schools in the Canterbury region.

As a school, we would like to also identify and celebrate those 14 athletes who will be moving on to the next round of competition.
