Open Days 2022 – Limited Spaces

School tours will run on Tuesday 24th May and Thursday 26th May 2022 between 9am and 1pm. It is essential to register for a place on the tours. Tour bookings will open at 9am Monday 16th May 2022 on our website cghs.school.nz.

Due to limited spaces tours will be conducted in small groups of approximately 10 people for 2023 Year 9 students and caregivers only. Masks will be expected to be worn by visitors to the school.

There will be no Principal’s address at the Open Days due to current restrictions. A recorded version will be available on our website with a welcome from our Head Student and Year 9 students.

Enrolments for 2023 are now open

Applications close 4pm July 29th 2022 for all out of zone applications. We would appreciate as many in zone applications by that date to assist with 2023 roll planning.

Any student interested in applying for a place at Te Kura Kohine ō Ōtākaro | Avonside Girls’ High School for 2023 should visit the school’s website www.avonside.school.nz for all enrolment information.

Enrolments for Year 9 (and all other levels) for 2023 open on 18 May. Enrolments close on 29 July 2022.

The prospectus and online enrolment form are available on the website from 18 May. There is also a hard copy of the school prospectus available at our school office, should you want to collect one. Some of our larger contributing schools have had these delivered to them, so please enquire at your current school office as well.

There will be no on-site Open Evening in 2022, however I am happy to meet with families individually to discuss any questions or concerns.
