Over the last weekend in November, Edward from Room 19 took part in the Worsley Weekend in Akaroa. After being accepted into the programme, Edward was given the opportunity to step outside his comfort zone by completing a high ropes course and a survival course. The weekend was a tribute to Frank Worsely, who was born in Akaroa and captained Ernest Shackleton's famous polar expedition on the ship Endurance. Edward said the weekend has inspired him to one day go to Antarctica and continue to look for opportunities to step outside his comfort zone.
