Ben (Room 11) recently competed at the Cycling NZ Skoda Southern Tour in Blenheim and achieved some fantastic results!

Ben represented Heaton in the 4 U13 boys' categories with the Southern Tour being a points-based event.

Saturday

1. Individual time trial, 3.4km = placing 1st 

2. Criterion 6km = placing 1st, winning a national title in this race.

Sunday (incredibly cold, freezing windy conditions) 

3. Hill Climb 1.8km = placing 1st 

4. Road Race including King/Queen of Mountain section 16km = placing 1st + KoM
