Our recent Arts Celebration concert allowed many students to display their many talents.

At the end of the term three, the many different Arts groups at Heaton combined to present a celebration of talents and learning. The evening started with our award-winning Kapahaka group which recently came second, this year in the local Tūhono competition. This was followed by our school rock bands.

A cultural dance set the theme for the evening. Mr Oswin then conducted our school orchestra which played some entertaining themes from Star Wars.

There were a number of visual art, drama and dance performances, followed by the chorale and then some wonderful wearable art from the textiles technology extension group. 

The evening finished with a big finale involving the choir, chorale and some dancers singing 'This is me' from The Greatest Showman.
