Come and Play Softball a fun game for all.  Papanui Softball Club Spring Training:

We invite all past and future members aged from 5 to 18 years old to Spring training where will get you registered and get you involved in some drills and skills.

Our Development Manager, Boyd Chamberlain has enrolled some of our Premier players to come along and help make this fun and engaging event to help you to learn what playing softball is all about.

Grab your mates and come along and give softball a go.

When: Sunday 18th August and Sunday 25th August 2019, 1-3pm.

Where: Papanui Domain, Softball diamond, 53 Sawyers Arms Road.

Spring is on the way and so is The Breeze Walking Festival, 28 September to Sunday 13 October 2019.  Now in its eighth year, the festival offers 50 free walks with a range of easy, medium and challenging routes. Many of the walks combine the chance to learn more about nature, culture, history and new developments around our city and region.

The opening weekend sees the return of the popular feature walk 'Dogs Day Out' that begins with a guided scenic walk in the red zone, free micro chipping for Christchurch registered dogs, and lots of treats for dog lovers of all ages!

Family Friendly walks include the Wookie walk, Charlesworth Wetland discovery trail, Going on a Bear Hunt, Pukeko Stomp, Gruffalo Explorer, Adventure on Te Ara Ihutai - Christchurch coastal Pathway, The Generation Game and many more.

So get your family and friends together, head outdoors and put some spring into your step with The Breeze Walking Festival. Bookings are now open!

Love Tennis - Waimairi Tennis Club Open Days. Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September 1 to 4pm. Come along and check out your local tennis club, Waimairi, located in Watford Street. It is free, the whole family is welcome, so come and have a hit and see what you think. Racquets and balls are provided so you can simply join in and kids can sample a coaching lesson. There is a free sausage sizzle and drinks and vouchers from Hell Pizza to be given away. Coaches and members will be on hand for any questions. Come and give it a go! 49 Watford Street, Strowan.
