With the fantastic support of our Heaton community we're delighted to be able to support our children through the following initiatives:

• $30,000 for the purchase of a 2014 ten-seater Toyota Hiace van (the funds for this were raised over the past five years)
  
• $2000 to the principal's fund
  
• A total of $4000 to support sports, LRC, the extension fund, and performing arts
  
• New bean bags for the LRC
  
• Supporting the kapa haka at Tuhono with new accessories
  
• The well-supported quiz night in October, which brought together parents, staff, and friends for an enjoyable evening, and which raised over $5000
  
• The running of the second-hand uniform sales.
  

We extend our gratitude to all who supported our school, through engaging with the PTA and our initiatives. We have been happy to be able to provide those "little extras", and sometimes "big extras" to enhance life at Heaton Intermediate.  None of this would have been possible without the help of parents, caregivers, and staff.  We thank you all for making everything we do possible.
