Heaton ākonga have been participating in Keep New Zealand Beautiful's Clean Up Week initiative.

Heaton has been making a difference in our local community, cleaning up litter from our school grounds and Elmwood Park. Thanks to Keep New Zealand Beautiful, we have plenty of cotton gloves and bags. In two weeks, we've collected more than 40 square metres of rubbish and recycling! The clean up will continue in Week 1 of Term 4.
