We have almost come to the end of another amazing year at Heaton. Thank you so much to our incredible staff who are such a great team and all go the extra mile for our students and each other. Next year Nicki Greer is moving to Wellington and Jodi Donkers is taking a year’s leave to travel. They have both been wonderful friends and colleagues and we will miss them both. Thank you for your contribution to our school and the lives of our students. The support we receive from the BOT and PTA is second to none and is very much appreciated by us all. Thank you.

Once again we had a very highly successful Careers Morning. Thank you very much to parents in our community for taking the time to come along and speak and inspire our students at this busy time of year. There was incredibly positive feedback from our students and our speakers.

We are very sad to be saying goodbye to our lovely Year 8 students. They have come so far in their two years with us and we are proud of each one of them for their varied achievements and personal growth. Our best wishes go with them as they move on to high school and beyond. We look forward to Year 7 students returning next year as Year 8 students. We know they will be superb role models for our new students and really look after them.

Lastly my very best wishes to you all for a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends and a very relaxing summer break.
