All Souls Youth Group, All Souls Parish Hall, 30 Church Lane, Thursdays 6.30 p.m. - 8.30 p.m. in term time. It is for ages Year 8 and up, with grace for mature Year 7's. We do games like dodgeball, water balloon fights, and hide and seek in the dark followed by a chat (often involving playdough or chocolate), a very quick prayer and then some delicious kai. Twice a term, we go out into the community, sometimes to do community service (which we can help the kids use for Duke of Edinburgh or programmes where they need community service), other times it's to the beach or Margaret Mahy playground for some fun. 

We also do leadership training; which means once a youth turns 18, they can come back as a youth leader and get training paid for through us. We are a mixed group, mainly girls with a handful of boys, and we all have a lot of fun. We are pretty ecumenical and have Anglicans, Presbyterians, Baptists, Mormons, Catholics, Agnostics, Atheists, etc, so we would be delighted to have you!! Text 0223 154 991 for details.

Avon/St. Michael’s Junior Hockey Club welcome players from all over Christchurch.  We offer hockey to all junior ages, from Year 1 right through to Year 8.  Come along to our practices and trials @ Shirley Boys High School turf.  Start Dates:

• Year 7-8 Players: 14 March,
• Boy’s: 5.30 -6:30pm, Girl’s 6.30 – 7.30pm
• Year 5-6 Players: 21 March, 5:30-6.00pm
• Year 3-4 Players: 21 March, 4:30-5:30pm
• Year 1-2 Players: 2 May at 4:30-5:30pm
