Environment Club 2018

Joan Green —

The Heaton Environment Club seeks seed donations to beautify the school grounds.

We're the Heaton Environment Club 2018. We look after the gardens around the school. We meet every Thursday, when we weed the gardens, gather crops from our vegetable garden, or plant new seeds. Also, we water every day.

The club is currently undergoing a project to spruce up the planter boxes around the school. If you have any spare seeds that you could donate to us for our boxes or other planting beds, they would be much appreciated! As you can see from the photo of a successful planter box, hardy, brightly coloured flowers or plants are best. Self-seeding plants are great too, so that we can carry on the plants for the next year’s club without replanting.

Thank you for your support!
