This week our tamariki enjoyed having our Year 7 & 8 students share their pukapuka (books) with them. The stories are amazing! They about significant landmarks and events in our local history. The Year 7 & 8 students visited these sights of significance in Term 2 and have then been learning more about them in class before working as publishing houses to draft, edit and publish their original stories. The pukapuka are so good our younger children have asked for copies in their learning spaces. We are now looking into the possibility of getting them published as well as creating ebooks to share online. Watch this space.
