Here at HVS we are extremely proud of the growth of our senior students during their Year 7 & 8 time. Our testing shows they make more than their 'expected' progress in numeracy and literacy. Our observations show they grow socially and emotionally. And our feedback, from high schools, tells us that tamariki from HVS are extremely good at taking on challenges and managing their responsibilities, as well as taking a lead role in their learning.

In Term 3 (Wednesday 31st August) our Year 6 tamariki will have the opportunity to experience a taster of what being in the Senior Room is like, and that night (7pm) we will host a Year 7 & 8 Information Evening for all interested parents. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about the great learning experiences and growth that occurs in this space.
