Many hands make light work...and a great sports programme

Our objective at Heaton is to provide as many opportunities as possible for our students to participate, compete and to further develop their confidence and sporting skills. We have been blessed over the years with some amazing community help, where parents/caregivers have kindly given up their time to coach a Heaton team or assist our teachers with extra supervision.

We have an action packed term of summer sport on offer for our students. If you are willing and able to assist our programme in either a coaching or managing capacity, I would be delighted to hear from you (everst@heaton.school.nz). The more passionate people we have on board means the more opportunities we can provide for our enthusiastic students. 

The summer sports where any additional community help would be greatly appreciated are:

* Touch 

* Golf

* Cricket

* Softball

* Orienteering

* Swimming (timekeeping)

* Water Polo
