We are reaching out with information regarding credit card payments through the Hero app. Heaton Intermediate School has enabled or set up an account with Stripe to allow this payment option in Hero for our school community.

The Hero App offers the convenience of a payments service so that families can pay for their school fees, activities, sports etc through a simple payment process. This is a great service for busy parents and has the added benefit of making life easier for our school office administrators.

Reduced Transaction Fee:

Feed back to Hero acknowledged that while the payments service functions well, the fee structure was high. Hero have worked with Stripe to bring the costs down for our school and families. From 1st April 2021, aligning with the new tax year, the fee for making payments via the Hero App will be reduced to just 2.9% + 30c per transaction.
