The Hepburn Building has had extensive remediation works undertaken on it since the start of the Term 3 holidays, and we are working towards completing the final works in March and early April.

The work undertaken included complete removal of all asbestos coatings, electrical upgrade work (including lighting and suspended ceilings), installation of TV screens in many classrooms to allow for more flexible teaching options, upgrading of half of the student bathrooms and staff bathrooms, removal of damaged lockers and installation of new lockers as well as new floor coverings. Without doubt, the most eagerly anticipated upgrade of them all are the Hi Wall airconditioning units in the classroom spaces.  

Livingstone Construction have been the main construction contractors and along with our Project Managers, Greenstone Group, the project has tackled lockdowns, Covid, and all the "normal" construction issues.  Pictures below show some of the spaces which are still under construction but provide some indication of the completed product.
