House Spirit was in full display for our Year 9 and Year 10 Athletics events.

This week we ran a shortened version of our Athletics Day for Year 9 and Year 10 students. They got the chance to compete in 100m, Javelin, Shot Put and High Jump. House points were available for every student who participated, along with extra points for those who exceeded certain measurements or times. It was awesome to see the House Spirit on display and see students encourage each other and give things a go. Congratulations to our House Leaders, Hollie Graham - Heads, Matt Missen - Edgecumbe, Ally White - MacDiarmid, Jamie Smith - Wilson and Brittany Kenny - Campbell, who helped to motivate and inspire students to try their best. Well done also to the Sports Department and PE Department for helping to organise and support the running of the events on the day. 

Students who competed this week may qualify for the School Championship Athletics day at Porritt Stadium on 8th March.
