At the beginning of Term 2, te rōpu kapa haka o Te Maurea Whiritoi drove out to Kāwhia, to attend our yearly Kapa Haka camp at Waipapa marae.

The tutors of the group, Matua Toti and Whaea Frankie West, organise these camps to create an unbreakable team bond. We build an incredible team culture that allows our Kapa to grow and flourish as a whānau, and we also polish the bulk of our competition bracket. These camps are essential in ensuring our group's progress is moving positively, ready for the competition stage in June.
