ACE Week is a long standing tradition and involves a week-long initiative undertaken and carried out by the Academic Council of Hamilton Girls’ High.

Students of our school take part in a range of academic activities during lunch and interval throughout the week. Academia is a place of excitement and passion, and students were invited to express their individuality through the power of their own voice as well as their creativity.

With wonderful help from the Prefects in the 2024 Academic Council, a range of fun and engaging activities were carried out throughout ACE Week. Such activities included ‘Cupcake Decorating,’  the ‘Math and Science Quiz,’ the ‘Business Studies Auction,’ ‘Meditation’ sessions, a ‘Mock Election,’ ‘Daily Quote Riddles,’ and the "Prototype Competition.’ The broad nature of the events allowed many students the opportunity to take part and express their creativity as well as develop critical thinking skills. This created a sense of community within the Academic sector of our school, also reminding our students to just give things a go and have fun!

ACE Week of 2024, was an outstanding success.
