House Civvies Day a success!
Term 3 saw a House Civvies Day that painted the school with colour and spirit.
It was great kicking off the Term 3 Civvies with a House Civvies Day! Students were encouraged to come in their house colours in order to bring some cheer and house spirit to the school. Points were given to each student repping their house colours, with two points for each teacher who came in their house colours as well. Along with this, a best dressed fashion show took place at lunchtime. Judges were Andrea Marr, Gillian Dibley, Kerry Hunter and Rebecca Early. The winners for the House Civvies Day Best Dressed competition were, in first place, Heads’ Amokura Salmon Turoa who performed a moving haka, in second place Campbell’s Jordan Devoy, and in third place Wilson’s Hannah Lennox. Best dressed teacher went to Mr Jake Spence from Campbell, but Judy Wilson of Heads was a close second! Overall winner was Campbell with Heads close behind, followed by Edgecumbe, Wilson and then MacDiarmid. The day was full of energy, bright colours and house spirit - definitely a success! The charity being supported on the day was Cure Kids.
