It is never too early to begin to explore career pathways. Labour market information is becoming increasingly important for young people to understand as they explore opportunities. Some good sites to begin this exploration are: https://www.careers.govt.nz/job-hunting/whats-happening-in-the-job-market/ https://occupationoutlook.mbie.govt.nz/
During Terms 1 and 2 the school hosts all eight universities and a variety of other providers to give students an overview of tertiary courses and pathways. This information will be advertised through the daily notices and also on the HGHS Careers/Gateway Facebook and Instagram site. https://www.facebook.com/HamiltonGirlsHighSchoolCareersDepartment
