Vaccination Register

Participation in our extensive extra-curricular programme requires the collation of vaccination information. Here we explain how it will be collected.

Why a vaccination register?

Hamilton Girls’ High School follows the Ministry of Education Guidelines for operations under the Government Covid Protection Framework, also known as the traffic light system. We will operate according to the requirements of each traffic light - Red, Orange and Green - when mandated by the Government. As per the Privacy Act 2020, all vaccination information will only be accessed by the school’s senior leadership team and will be required for the following purposes:

  • playing a sport for the school in the Waikato region and Sport NZ sanctioned events.
  • participation in our extra-curricular cultural and arts programme.

The mandate also extends to spectators attending extra-curricular events, games and trainings.

We are requesting that parents add Covid-19 vaccination information to their daughter’s records.

How to provide the information?

Vaccination information will be collected via the KAMAR Portal:

  1. Log on to https://kamarportal.hghs.school.nz/
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. Click on 'Details'. This will open a drop-down box and then select the 'Details' option.
  4. Click on 'Covid Vaccination Status' on the menu bar.
  5. Complete the information required and upload the evidence of the vaccination or exemption status in the format shown.
  6. Make sure you select the red 'Update Status' button located on the bottom right of the screen to save the content.
