Brooke travelled to New Caledonia to compete in the Oceania Karate Championships and came away with three bronze medals for Kumite.

Brooke's three medals were:

3rd in the Oceania 2022 Championship - to compete in this competition Brooke was selected to represent New Zealand by the NZ Karate Federation. She won three fights against other females in the 14-15 age group 54kg + division. 

3rd in the Oceania Cup 2022 against 13 other females from around Oceania. 

Brooke also won bronze in a team fight against three other teams from Australia, New Caledonia, Nauru and French Polynesia. 

Brooke's next international competition is in Birmingham, England for the Junior Commonwealth Games in September!
