More success for our HGHS Equestrian students!

On 11th May HGHS sent 7 horses and riders to the Waikato Secondary Schools show jumping held at Leamington pony club grounds in Cambridge. The riders for HGHS were Lexi Nolan, Stephanie Rear, Rachael le Miere, Jasmine Rear, Sarah Whiteley, Ayla Klein and Teegan Collings. It was a wonderful sunny day with lots of positive sportsmanship from HGHS and all the other competitors. All HGHS competitors were highly successful individually. 

The best individual results were achieved by Stephanie Rear and her pony Daylight. They gained one first and two seconds in the 75cm ring.

This meant that one HGHS team did particularly well and placed 4th overall out of all teams that competed at this event.
