New Release: Matariki Hao Ariki

Another highlight this term was the release of Te Maurea Whiritoi’s debut single, Matariki Hao Ariki. This powerful waiata is a tribute to the late Kīngi Tūheitia, likening the thunderstorm that marked his passing to the deep sorrow felt by those he left behind:

“Kīngi Tūheitia, haere atu rā ki ō nui i te pō.”

Stay connected with Te Maurea Whiritoi by following them on social media to listen to Matariki Hao Ariki, explore their full debut album, and keep up with what the rōpū is working on.
