Celebrating the success and achievements of our Māori & Pasifika students

Victoria Trenwith —

On Thursday, 17 October, we gathered as a school community to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Māori and Pasifika students at our Celebration Assembly.

It was a privilege to welcome whānau and friends to share in this special occasion.

Our students were honoured for their excellence across a wide range of areas, including academic pursuits, sporting prowess, artistic talents, community service, and leadership roles. We were particularly inspired by the achievements of our wāhine toa, who exemplify strength, resilience, and pride in themselves and their culture. Their dedication to their studies, their passion for their cultural heritage, and their commitment to making a positive impact on our school community is truly commendable.

The assembly was filled with vibrant performances from our talented dancers and musicians, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of our school. We were captivated by the beauty and energy of their performances, which reflected the spirit and creativity of our students.

Ka mau te wehi!
