HGHS athletes medal at the 2024 New Zealand Track & Field Championships at Newtown Park, Wellington (March 14-17).

Zarah Rattray is the U18 NZ Champion in 300m Hurdles. She also came second in the 100m Hurdles, and third in the Triple Jump. Zarah was in the gold medal winning 4x400m WAIBOP relay team and also in the second place getting 4x100m WAIBOP relay team.

 Less than a year after taking up the sport, Jamie Fell is the U16 Triple Jump champion and she also came 2nd in the 80m Hurdles.

Losaline Lose came second in both the U18 and U20 Discus.
