Hamilton Girls' High School's Junior Girls Basketball team made us incredibly proud, finishing 2nd in the Premier Grade of the Junior Girls 3x3 Northern Regional Tournament.

The only team to defeat them was eventual champions, Mount Maunganui College, in a hard-fought match.

Their performance on the court was matched by their outstanding sportsmanship, self-management, and infectious positivity. Spectators praised the team’s competitive spirit, joyful demeanour, and impressive teamwork, calling them "a team to watch."

It’s inspiring to see our juniors following in the footsteps of our senior team, who recently claimed the National Championship title. Small in stature but mighty in heart, these players truly represent the strength and mana of Hamilton Girls’ High School.
