As part of ACE week, the Arts had a wide range of activities to showcase the subjects and groups we have to offer.

HGHS was lucky enough to have some very special guests, the NZ Latino Swing Dance group, come in and perform for us this Wicked Wednesday. Along with this very exciting performance, our awesome Kapa Haka girls from our incredible Kapa Haka group, Te Maurea Whiritoi, sang some beautiful waiata for an awestruck audience under the Nga Puawaitanga canopy.

We also had some other activities going on around the school, like a movie trivia quiz run by our Media Prefect, Morgan Van LoggenBerg, a painting activity in the art room with our Visual Arts Prefect Emma James, and a dance display by our auditioned contemporary group, run by our Dance Prefect, Ava McMorran!
