On Thursday 7th March Level 2 APO students embarked on an overnight tramp up Mount Pirongia.

This trip was linked to their 2.7 Assessment where students had to implement and evaluate risk management strategies. The experience of using long drops, gas cookers, and chains to climb rocks was new for some of the girls. A big thanks to Mr Scrimgeour, Mr Mounsey, and Feke (Sophia van den Bogaard) for coming along. Special mention to Ms Ford for her smooth organisation of the trip and smoky dinner.
