On Sunday the 17th of March,17 International students from Hamilton Girls' High School and 24 from Sacred Heart Girls' College traveled to Mount Maunganui.

It was an incredible day out as many of our students had not had the opportunity to visit the Bay of Plenty together with their friends. Our students had the chance to walk around the bottom of the Mount. It took a while to walk around as our girls spent a lot of time playing in the water at the beach, collecting shells, standing on rocks, and watching their shoes get dragged into the surf.

After we had completed our walk and time at the beach, we then traveled to Bayfair Shopping Center. Our students were able to get some lunch and had about 90 minutes of shopping time before we boarded the bus for home.

The girls were incredible ambassadors for Hamilton Girls' High School throughout the day.
