Dance NZ Made Regionals
Early in Term 2, Hamilton Girls' High School attended Dance NZ Made, an interschool dance competition where students compete against other schools at a regional level and have the chance to qualify for nationals.
HGHS dancers represented the school with pride and came away with some excellent results!

These students were selected during the workshops by the tutors and were awarded a Golden Ticket to attend the Gold Awards. They will battle their way through elimination rounds, dancing eight pieces of choreography they have previously learned. The final dancers remaining will have the chance to win $1000 towards their dance training.

Each and every dancer left everything on the stage and performed like true professionals. Next stop: NATIONALS! Both our Junior Troupe and Rivalry will head to Palmerston North in October to represent HGHS on the national stage!
