Our coaching team gives some time to the Executive Council to develop their coaching skills.
At the end of a very busy first term for the Executive Council they can still be found dedicating time to developing their leadership skills.
The Council completed a workshop, delivered by Miss White and Glenys Henry, that introduced coaching skills to empower them to be effective and positive communicators, find new ways of working together and start to think about how to balance their roles with life as a Year 13 student.
Despite the 8am start (and a couple having to join online) the girls really embraced the challenge of listening without responding, asking powerful questions and letting the coachee find the solutions.
Hearing powerful words such as 'empowered', 'inspired' and 'insightful' in their feedback, as well as their ideas about how they intend to use their new skills in their roles, is very exciting.
