Scanning electron microscopy in the HGHS Science Department

In Week 4, Term 4 we were fortunate enough to be loaned a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), by the University of Waikato. This device uses a beam of electrons to create images to a far greater level of detail and magnification compared to standard light microscopes.
