HGHS dance students perform on the national stage

On the 23rd of September, 14 HGHS students made the trip to Palmerston North to represent Girls' High in the DanceNZ Made Interschool Solo, Duo and Teams Nationals competition.
The students performed extremely well, with the most notable successes being Rosie Muhlmann placing second in NZ in the Year 10 solo competition, and Lily Burgess Munro being awarded the 'Art of Movement for Creating Dance That Is Art' award.
Sarah King, Mayah Sarafield, Libby Hopkins, and Jorja Vette competed well in the Year 11-13 Duo competition, and Rivalry in the Open division teams competition.
