Exploring the World — Our kapa haka group, Te Maurea Whiritoi, at a temple in Kyoto, Japan 2018
Hamilton Girls' High School — July 5, 2022
Hamilton Girls’ High School has always supported the importance of life beyond the classroom.
Students are encouraged to embrace all activities, expand their experiences and develop new passions. Being involved in the wider school increases a sense of belonging which leads to higher levels of engagement and motivation.
The School has an extensive range of Co-Curricular activities on offer (read more in our Sports and Arts & Culture sections). Furthermore, our learning programmes, clubs and service initiatives offer opportunities that cater to a range of interests and hobbies.
On occasions, there is the opportunity to join an international trip, such as recent trips to Europe, Japan, France, Hawaii and Spain for Languages, Sport, The Arts or Cultural Trips. 2022 will be the first time our students have travelled overseas in some time, as our coveted touch team travel to Australia to participate in the Gold Coast Titans-Queensland All Schools Touch Tournament 2022.
