Kia ora e the whānau

Wiki 5 had us settling back into school and class routines after camp. With this terms focus being Hauora, we have been working on how we best support our welling being through the Te Whare Tapa Whā model. Te Whare Tapa Whā is a Māori health model that describes wellbeing as a meeting house with 4 walls.

The walls represent:

Taha tinana: Physical health

Taha hinengaro: Mental and emotional health

Taha whānau: Family, community, and social health

Taha wairua: Spiritual health, or your connection to the land

We created Te Whare Tapa Whā posters that describe what best supports our own four walls of our wellbeing.
