On Friday afternoon Highfield was lucky enough to have the author Anne Kayes come in and chat to us about two of her books, Tūi street tales and Tūi street heroes!

When Anne was talking to Highfield she read us some of the books, told us about when she started writing and the process of writing a book!

Anne is a very well known author around Aotearoa, she is currently on the Storylines national story tour where she is getting to travel around talking to schools about her books! We were very grateful for getting to listen to Anne and even ask her some questions!
