On Tuesday 25th August at 11am we had special guests Mr Wilcox, Mrs Haynes and Hayley Clark judge our Team Kauri students who made it through from round one of classroom speeches.

We would like to congratulate Carmina Cabrera-Martin who was the overall winner and gave an entertaining speech about the reasons why you should not be a vegan.  Logan Wood received 2nd place and gave a captivating and interactive speech about Minecraft and Leonay Coetsee who received 3rd place and gave a very persuasive speech about dogs.  This was the conclusion to our Term 3 Literacy focus on persuasive writing.  We would like to congratulate all Team Kauri students who shared their speech with an audience as this takes resilience and bravery.
