Congratulations to our Year 8 team, the Highfield Hornets, who were placed 3rd in the A Grade competition!

On Monday night our Year 8 Boys were in a thrilling 3rd place play-off game against Geraldine. The boys played exceptionally well with a lot of great defence as well as attack. It was an incredibly tight and exciting game with the final score being 22-22.  

Our Highfield Hornets have had an outstanding season beginning in "B Grade" where they had big wins in all of their games, before progressing up to "A Grade". These boys have overcome a lot of sickness, often having few or no subs. 

Well done to our boys: Jonah Heke, Noah Murray, Taniela Tuli, Tiare Wiparata, Daniel Jackson, Lukhan Spence and Cairo Ngatikao. A big thank you to Jett Hurrell for helping the team out in the last two games. Boys you showed a lot of grit, determination and resilience, we are very proud.  

A big thank you to Miss Potter for your dedication and enthusiasm as a coach. You have worked very hard with this team throughout the season.
