Epro Challenge
Robyn Cooper - June 4, 2022
Last week, two teams from each classroom in Year 7 & 8 competed to get into the Epro8 Challenge. The Epro8 Challenge is a New Zealand science inter-school challenge for students from year 7 to 10 it includes problem solving, construction and measuring. We had 1 day to get used to the parts by making a shopping trolley. We also had to add something of interest. The next day came the real challenge, we had 2 hours to construct either a scarecrow, a decision making machine, or a concrete mixer. After construction we would press a button on our chromebook and Mr Boon would come and give us points. Then we could either continue with our creation or go on to another one. It was really fun and the finals will be held in July at Bluestone School. By Patrick
