Our inquiry focus this term is technology. How do different technologies impact our lives and how can we use technology to impact our lives positively? We have been talking a lot about how technology can impact the way we create energy and conserve natural resources. We looked at how renewable energy was a better option when it came to generating power. With our power challenge kits we were able to design our own wind turbines designing our blades and thinking about the best way to generate the most power. The size, shape and amount of blades were important variables to think about.

We were so excited to see that our wind turbines generated enough energy to turn on our lights!
