Some of the year 8 leaders were lucky enough to be invited to the PALS training at the stadium, PALS stands for physical activity leaders.

We got to learn a lot of fun new games and also learn how to lead different games. We did some leadership activities in a workbook where we talked about different leaders and all of their different values. Towards the end we made a poster about what we are going to do back at school as PAL leaders. One thing we decided on was to do fun games for the juniors during lunch on Fridays. It was also fun getting to talk to different people from different schools around South Canterbury! We all had such a fun time and are very grateful we are getting different leadership opportunities!
