Academic Excellence Assembly

Amber Ganley —

Monday 3rd March we celebrated the exceptional academic achievement of our students. Hillcrest High School has always been known to be a strong academic school, and we are so proud to see this tradition continue and be reflected in the achievements we acknowledged today.

Janet Guo Trophy

This trophy is awarded to the student who gained the most NZQA Scholarships.

This year's recipient is Alexander Mathieson.

Alexander was our 2024 Head Student and DUX. Alexander gained Scholarships in English, Earth and Space Science, Calculus and Accounting. He also received OUTSTANDING scholarship results for Chemistry, Statistics and Physics.
