Whakapike Ake

Supporting rangatahi Māori into health related tertiary pathways.

Whakapike Ake who support rangatahi Māori into health related tertiary pathways will be coming to Hillcrest High School on Thursday the 14th of March for a one hour session.

They will be meeting with Year 12 and Year 13 students who have Māori ancestry, taking a minimum of 2 Applied Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics) and ideally a Math and an English-rich subject (Te Reo Māori included).

If you would like your tamariki to attend the presentation please email Mrs Williams before the 11th of March.

The same group will be returning in Term Three to meet with students in Year 10 and 11 to tell them about pathways that are available in the Health sector.
