Level 1 Art Trip

On Tuesday 20th February, Level One Art students visited the Waikato Museum to learn about artists’ ideas, techniques and meanings in artworks.

We learned about traditional, trans-customary and contemporary Māori artforms. This knowledge will be applied in the new NCEA internal standards based on the concept of Turangawaewae. Being immersed in the light and sound show within the Wharenui Harikoa was a highlight!
