Arbor Day
On June 2nd 25 students attended the annual Arbor Day Community Planting at Waiwhakareke.
The soil was very soft after all the rain we have had so planting was easier but a lot muddier than usual. Jacob, Elly and Te Aohou from our PAC joined us for their first mass planting experience.
It was a fine example of mahi tahi tātou/working together as one as thousands of trees were planted in a short time.
