Year 12 Drama Production - DNA
In Week 8 our Year 12 Drama students presented their production of 'DNA' by Dennis Kelly.
This year's level 2 production, highly anticipated by both Level 2 drama classes, was DNA, a dark comedy play by Dennis Kelly. The play followed a group or a ‘gang’ of teenagers who believe that their relentless actions have led to the death of their friend. As the play continues the friends become more and more desperate to cover up their crime, digging themselves into a deeper hole. Throughout their 2 month long process the students learnt many essential skills for production: line learning, connection with the characters, and portraying a realistic character convincingly.
